Sustainable support for intensive care

Here is a success story: In early 2025, a German medical company donated a blood gas analyser for one of our partner clinics in Kharkiv. Until then, not a single such device had been available in the entire hospital complex, even though it is considered an absolute standard here in Germany. However, even the best device is only as good as the supply of consumables that keeps it running. This is where the Rotary Club Kurfürstendamm stepped in with a generous donation.  To sum up: in almost two years of operation, around 1,000 patients have benefited from this device! It is this kind of sustainability that we aim to achieve with our projects. We’ve just sent off the final partial delivery of supplies – they should last until the end of the year. After that, we’ll again need more supplies – who’ll step in with a donation and help us ensure this vital device can continue to operate for the good of our patients?
