Medical aid needs volunteers to thrive
These photos offer a few brief glimpses into our work over the past two weeks: Surgical equipment for the operating room, syringe pumps for the #emergencyroom at one of our partner hospitals in Kharkiv, bandages and tourniquets for new first-aid kits (IFAK), an anesthesia machine, and much more provide effective support for our colleagues’ work.
All of this is made possible by the many small and not-so-small sums we receive, hospitals and individuals who offer us used equipment, cooperating organizations from all over Germany, and, of course, our indispensable volunteers. They inspect and pack equipment, pick up deliveries, transport our relief supplies over thousands of kilometers, take photos, and write reports—all without any financial gain and often without ever being seen in public. Without all of them, this entire effort would not be possible. It’s time to say a big thank you to all of them for their dedication!
