Currently, there is a sad common thread running through the news: 

Even more and even more targeted Russian bombing is destroying Ukraine's electricity and heating infrastructure in particular. For the coming winter, this means that even more innocent people, especially in eastern Ukraine, will be sitting in the dark and in temperatures as low as -20°C. That is why we want to build on our successes of last winter and, if possible, distribute up to 1,000 winter sleeping bags to people in the most affected areas. 

In total, we have already been able to distribute over 4,500 sleeping bags to people in need in Ukraine with our ‘1,000 Winter Sleeping Bags´ campaigns!

This achievement also improves our bargaining power. Through a trusted contact at one of Germany's central importers, we receive a significant humanitarian discount, meaning that when we purchase 1,000 high-quality winter sleeping bags, they only cost us €35 each.

The projected total financial requirement is €35,000. We will handle transport to Ukraine, distribution and documentation on site with our trusted Ukrainian partners at no additional cost, i.e. 100% volunteer help, 0% additional costs.
