UPS for CT scanner in St. Nicholas hospital Lviv
++++ Uninterruptible power supply in operation ++++
After a long period of preparation, technicians at St Nicholas Children's Hospital were finally able to put the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) donated by us into operation. Previously, power failures caused by Russian attacks on the Ukrainian power grid often resulted in unplanned outages and - even worse - damage to the equipment due to voltage spikes when the emergency generators kicked in. Due to the high power consumption (180kW) of the CT, a high-quality special device was required. This was procured in Ukraine with the generous support of the Else Kröner-Fresenius-Foundation and secured with a long-term maintenance contract. Many thanks to you and the team here and on site!
