Safety equipment in the OR in Kharkiv

Although several of our cooperating doctors from Kharkiv have been sent to the Pokrovsk cauldron, we are of course continuing to support the clinics. In cooperation with the Ebersberg-based associations Interplast e.V. and Begegnungen mit Menschen e.V. (thank you, Adrian Straub), we have been able to further improve safety and infrastructure, particularly in the operating theatres at Clinic #25. A patient warming device (the only one in the entire clinic so far), two German super-silent compressors and various monitoring devices now ensure greater safety not only in the central operating theatre, but also in the newly added maternity ward with its own OR. Especially in the operating room and the maternity ward of the birth centre, most of the technology is still from the Soviet era, so we still have a lot of work to do in terms of safety equipment.
