Pulse oximeters save lives

Pulse oximeters are devices for measuring oxygen saturation in the blood and are an important safety factor in emergencies or during operations. Thanks to a generous donation from the ZBI Group - Centre for Ventilation and Intensive Care, we were able to supply various facilities in Ukraine with these critical devices. It was particularly thoughtful of the donor to equip all the devices with sophisticated special sensors for children. This means that the devices can be used for paediatric cardiac surgery at our partner hospital St. Nicholas Lviv. They are particularly scarce and difficult to obtain in this configuration.
