Good news networks

Good news like these always bring a lasting dose of joy and good cheer!  The globally active colleagues from Begegnungen mit Menschen e.V. managed to support us with a significant quantity of urgently needed surgical suture material. The procurement was carefully coordinated with the local doctors and at maximum cost effectiveness. DRK Clinics Berlin have been one of our most steadfast supporters from 4-Ukraine´s very beginning. This time, the medical maintenance and repair department helped out with a set of high-quality pulse oximeters (devices for measuring blood oxygen) by Masimo, which were due to be taken out of service. In a coordinated effort, the devices were tested, equipped with suitable sensors and packaged. Devices of this type are in high demand in the paediatric surgery departments we support in Ukraine, due to their quality and reliability. In the picture on the right the paediatric heart surgery department at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lviv can bee seen receiving theirs. Networking is critically important for us in the current situation.
