Fundraising Campaign Launched

Less than a week after launching our fundraising campaign ‘How can we help Ukraine - right now!’, we received our first donations. It's not enough by a far stretch, but it's an encouraging start. This week, we delivered the following to eastern Ukraine: bandages, surgical suture material and instruments, pumps for enteral nutrition, consumables for laboratory and POCT measurements, perfusors and, with the generous support of the DRK Kliniken Berlin, a decommissioned but fully operational surgical light. Still urgently needed (‘urgently’ means that we will purchase these items if no donations in kind are available): surgical warming devices for patients, Redon, Robinson and Bülau drains, surgical lamps, burn dressings, non-sterile dressing materials.
