Emergency Power at the Zero Line
If I'm posting relatively little at the moment, it's not because there's nothing going on, but because the winter relief campaign has gripped me entirely. Thank you for sticking with me! In the last few days, we have been able to deliver most of the first 500 winter sleeping bags as well as 10 x 2 kW emergency power systems to frontline communities. For the people there, this means at least charged telephones, light and sometimes electricity for the fresh water pump. War in the cold and dark is even worse than just war! The map shows the proximity of the supported communities to the zero line.
One picture shows the small white ambulance of our partners from X-traverse Kharkiv they use to deliver equipment, medicines and food. Anyone familiar with the conditions there knows that such transports are only possible at the risk of our helpers' lives.
Yet, for the people in those villages, they are the lifeline and a sign that they are not forgotten!
